Vauxhall Corsa Hatchback (2006 - 2014) 1.7 CDTi Design 5d Owner Review

In their own words
I bought the car from a dealer with 1 owner from new. Even though it had main dealer service from new it's just set me back close to 1500 pounds for new clutch and flywheel plus a service as the auxiliary drive belt wasn't done when the cambelt was replaced which makes me wonder more about main dealer servicing rather than the reliability of the car. Overall quite happy even after the repairs as the ride and handling are good and the mpg is a bit rubbish around town it's pretty good on the motorway. The interior has lasted well for an 8 year old car but as with most vauxhalls it's quite basic. It's a good cheap alternative to a fiesta. Headlights can be a pain to replace as the Haynes manual recommend the bumper needs to be removed to do it, luckily a good guy at Halfords did it saving about 100 pounds in labour from a garage. On the diesel engines I'd recommend having at least an oil change every 6 months as the oil can get sludgy
