Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says I like a bit of power when needed but also that I don't like to spend the pennies at the pump.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Friends and family are a bit nondescript about the car. It is afterall just one of thousands of other Corsas on the road and doesn't stand out from the crowd.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I wouldn't buy this exact model again due to the torque issues at low revs but it has been replaced by a 130bhp model which I would test drive before deciding to purchase.
What are you likely to buy next?
Since purchasing this car we have had 2 additions to the family so looking at something that will accomodate us all incuding the extras that go with 2 small children including a double buggy. Either an estate or something along the lines of the Seat Altea XL which has one of the largerst boots I've seen and doesn't look like an estate.

Originally planned on using it for driving tuition.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
For a car with 125bhp it is extremely dangerous if you exit a clearly visible junction in 2nd or turn a corner up a hill in 2nd and find you need to put the foot down as it wont respond unless the revs are kept above 1500. Could do with an engine remap.
What's it like to park?
It has good visibilty, steering reasonably weighted at parking speeds. In general, it is very easy to park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Clutch pedal was extremely springy half way through the travel it would just jump up and I couldnt use the car for the purpose I bought it. car took 18 weeks to arrive and I still suspect to this day that it was involved in an accident and had to be repaired beofre delivery.
What's most practical about your car?
Fuel consumption is very generous and has lots of torque available for overtaking so long as the revs are kept high.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Rear parking sensors.
