In their own words

I was looking forward to driving my new Corsa as I thought it would be a noticeable step up compared to my 9 year old Ford Fiesta.
I have to say that I'm a little disappointed with the Corsa. It is an easy car to drive, adequate for most everyday needs but surprisingly falls short of my much older Fiesta in some important ways. I don't find it particularly comfortable, the seating position is too low for my wife who has hip problems and the handling is not as sharp as the Fiesta.
On the positive side, it seems a good motorway car. Quiet at 70 mph, feeling safe and stable. The clutch is very light and the gear change easy and precise. Main controls are fine but see below regarding some of the minor ones.
It seems the only major change in 10 years of car design evolution is the more sophisticated infotainment system with it's touch screen operation. As an old fogey, I find this all a bit complicated, particularly the heating system and would prefer manual controls.
My overall opinion is that the Corsa is certainly not a bad car but neither has it any real merits over similarly priced opposition. Does not live up to my hopes.
