What does this car say about you?

Rugged and dependable, and it fits in with my occupation,that being a freelance Arborist.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My freinds must have been impressed as one freind has bought himself a Frontera, a newer one though.My family love it as no longer is the fear of being stranded in the snow etc.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would buy this car again,maybe a newer model with more up to date gadgets etc. Its Cheap reliable and good MPG.

What are you likely to buy next?

My next car would be a newer Frontera or a Monterey. I have been looking at the X3 or X5 offerings from BMW.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got an ok deal,the vehicle was advertised on Ebay as a trade clearance, that part of the advert i failed to notice as when i went to the showroom to look at it there were a few not obvious repairs that needed to be done, mainly minor welding.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wrote my van off in the snow/ice of Dec 2011, and as i live at the top off a notorious hill i needed a good economic 4x4 for work.

What was the dealer like?

The dealer was the usual set-up, workshop a few cars on the forecourt, nice comfortable offices/waiting room. On the whole a nice pleasent area with nice pleasent staff..

What's it like to drive?

Now all the things that had to be repaired are now sorted its a real pleasure to drive. Albeit now is a little sluggish as it hasnt had a full service in 2 years. Which i will do next month.Feb 2012.

What's it like to park?

As with most 4x4's with a long tow bar, parking in tight situations is never going to be easy,however in most situations parking is easy/stress free.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Since getting what was needed fixed there has been nothing else gone wrong.

What's most practical about your car?

The most practical thing about the frontera for me is its sturdy, unlike some of the newer SUV's ive tried recently,you can fully load it up and pull a fully loaded trailer behind and still pull away up a hill in 4th.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Electrically heated and adjustable seats, a real pleasure in the freezing temperatures we've been having recently.
