Vauxhall Frontera Estate (1991-2003) interior, tech and comfort

All Fronteras greet you with a cheap-looking length of black plastic which passes as the dash. Some even have ‘wood’ trim, which makes it look worse. Some of the controls are bizarrely placed and the driving position isn’t very comfortable, because of a lack of adjustment. On the plus side, you sit up high, so there’s good visibility all round.
Seats in early cars lack support and can get uncomfortable very quickly. Cars from 1998 have larger and better seats that are more comfortable on longer trips.
