In their own words
Very good car, the 1.2t is deceiving and is nice and punchy with a lot of pull at low rpms. Carried 5 people and their luggage to France and back (from Dorset, UK) no issues or slow downs, the interior space is good, seats easy to move and fold, the boot is large are becomes even bigger if you open the spare tire hatch as it doesn’t have a tire. The engine is smooth running and is so quite whilst idling I forgot it was running, at high rpms it doesn’t sound harsh, it sounds somewhat sporty as if it wants to go faster. The auto braking is good as it’s stopped me from crashing countless times, the blind spot sensors are handy and the on board radar tracks cars in front of you and can keep up with them and slow down with the adaptive cruise control.
Handling is excellent and the car itself is fun to drive despite the comments of it not. Gearbox is good, many people despise of the wine it makes but that’s only when accelerating and it gives you feedback that the car is working because of how quiet the engine is. and in 6th we cruised in France at 110mph at 3500rpm, minimal wind noise or road noise or engine noise, could clearly go much, much faster. The auto high-beams are fast acting and will shut them off the moment you can see headlights and then turn them on again, this is useful for country road driving. The addition of physical buttons for the heating and air conditioning is very nice indeed, no fiddly menus to defrost the windscreen, which by the way is heated so ice melts in a matter of minutes.
Absolutely adore this car and recommend it to all people.
