Should you buy one?

The answer to this depends somewhat on what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for a company car friendly SUV that’s a sharper drive than similarly priced plug-in rivals, the Grandland GSe might hold some appeal. If you’re hoping for something that’s genuinely entertaining like the best performance SUVs, then its probably not for you.

If you don’t mind a slower pace of life or a bit more body roll, a Kia Sportage PHEV makes more sense. You still get four-wheel drive, low CO2 emissions and a slightly better electric range, but with more space and a better interior.
