What's it like to drive?
Awfull. 37mpg only attained by being the tortoise on the road.Fuel consumption in stop start congestion is horrendously low, dropping an average of 36mpg gained over 130miles to 32mpg average after only doing 4 miles in congestion traffic!!! Electric handbrake is totally unsafe in design and use. On a rising hill in traffic you either stall the engine or end up having accelerated clutch wear. You have to press the footbrake to release the electric handbrake, so how do you increase the revs on the throttle whilst using the same foot to operate the brake peddle. I have talked about this with a safety colleague who has an Insignia, and he is of the same opinion The rear should have a parking aid as standard, and so should the front because of the extended round "nose" of the front.
