Summary
What does this car say about you?
Family Man!!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Looks like a cheaper prestige car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, far to juicy for my likings and struggles to go into the garage, the judgements have to be exact otherwise you will hit the wall and have to have the N/S Door Mirror tucked in when going in.
What are you likely to buy next?
Unsure, I quite like 4x4's and crossovers so something along those lines.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£8,000
When did you buy the car?
April 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
A reasonable deal after a lot of problems with another car I was looking at.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Size, luxury look. Built in Sat-Nav. Only car I liked on the market at the time of purchase.
What was the dealer like?
Reasonable, the overall service was lacking as I was mid-led a few times with the original Insignia I was looking at however as I know them well we managed to resolve the situation.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Reasonably nice to drive, very good on long drive's but very juicy as a day to day car. Would recommend to someone doing a lot of miles and motorway driving no good for dropping the kids of at school!!
What's it like to park?
I don't struggle to park it but the Mrs does. You definitely need a reasonable size space for it so if your looking for something that goes into virtually any space forget the Insignia.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Had to have the air-con debugged very quickly, the ECU needed updating and there was a diesel issue - all rectified under warranty.
What's most practical about your car?
The overall size inside is very good.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Sat-Nav, Auto Climate Control, Auto Lights - couldn't live without them now.
