In their own words

We purchased our Insignia as we needed a larger car with expanding family & long trips in mind, with an eye to decent economy. After looking at numerous medium to large family diesel cars we picked it because we had asked experience with having asked several owners we met on their experience & like the look of them. We were very pleasantly surprised by how capable a car it is in all round daily use. It's very fast car which takes on long trips with ease, has a high spec & there are loads to choose from on the market. Apparently they outsold Mondeo's & other sports saloons by a big margin & i can understand why. It's real drivers car & to my eye is the best looking in it's class, Mondeo's of similar age look boxy. I think it's more of drivers car, with a great handling, good steering feedback & a proper (made in Germany) quality Engineering feel to it. Mondeo's after 2008 have a French engine made by Peugeot in them, (not my first choice), Interior is very nice, with great seats. If i have one dislike of car it;s the electronic parking brake, as i prefer a std lever type but this is becoming more common tbh. You could say it has too many electronics on it but again that is what customers generally want. i know i much prefer a German/English made car with all the bling to a French one. Go test drive one, you will like it..!
