Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer (2017 - 2019) Elite Nav 2.0 (170PS) Turbo D BlueInjection 5d Owner Review

In their own words
My first car was a Vauxhall Viva, (the original not the modern version), then i upgraded to a Chevette, eventually got a Vectra, then had 3 Insignias before my 4th Insignia i own now. I love vauxhall. Ive also had many Audis, A4,A5 (both convertibles) and a BMW 640d convertible and a recent 68 plate 430d M sport which i had remapped to 320bhp! Ive also owned fords too and a the odd rover too, so i have plenty of experience with cars!
My latest Insignia is a manual gear boxed Elite 2.0 TDI, I prefer diesel. My Elite Insignia has electrically operated and heated seats, Panoramic sunroof (beautiful!) Adaptive Matrix LED lighting (which is truly awesome and needs to be experienced to understand why its the best lighting available today!), Has LED rears and all other lighting is LED. My BMWs had LED lights too, but just the basic auto dim when on main beam, the Insignia really blows them out of the water! It also all the other goodies that I love in these sports tourers, size is huge when you need all that space, yet drives so easily as if in a much smaller car.
I love the Insignia, its a good solid family car, very refined, made in Germany with all the high standards you expect with BMW and Audi but without the ridiculous price tag. The Insignia sports tourer Elite has all the bells and whistles one could want. Cruises so smooth, you genuinely love to drive it long distance, it can eat the miles in complete comfort, it also holds the road REALLY well as if its on rails, and can be pushed around country roads with ease.
What more do i need? I have a Dab radio, mp3's via the USB drive, phone projection of my apps, voice control of my phone, reads out messages! Bluetooth connectivity, adaptive cruise control, the list is really big, oh and it also has a great and practical sat nav.
I love the styling on the latest sports tourers is just another level in my opinion and its sad they stopped UK production in 2019...though still available as OPEL in Germany, I also genuinely believe it looks way better than a BMW 5 series estate, a Mondeo estate, skoda superb estate or any Volvo estate. The only issue with early insignias was they kept loosing their front badges..often in car washes...Thankfully since 2017> this isnt an issue. They're great cars, killed off by the UK's ridiculous trend for SUV's. My advice forget the SUV's...get a Vauxhall Insignia sports tourer, preferably a 2.0 TDI..You wont regret it!
