Economy
Value
Bought second-hand. Main dealer would not negotiate at all.
Costs
I am finding the petrol consumption fairly reasonable. No other costs involved as yet.

Driving
Feel very comfortable and happy driving this car. Two difficulties, not too happy with the chunky pillars which do obscure vision and problem with the positioning of my small feet with clutch and the accelerator.
Performance
Very happy with the drive, seems fairly quiet. My only difficulty is I constantly stall from starting off but I think this is due to the change in foot pedals from my Ford Focus.

Living with it
Reliability
I have only owned the car for a month with no problems so this remains to be seen.
Image
Not something I worry about. I changed cars to accommodate my two dogs and this has worked beautifully.
Comfort
Find the Meriva very comfortable and my rear seat passengers tell me that they have lots of leg room.

Security and Service
Security
Do not have enough knowledge to judge this aspect but there is just the basic manufacturers device.
Service
Was not impressed with the main dealer. Quite frankly I felt the Manager used bullying tactics when I raised several queries and was not impressed with the small areas of bodywork I asked to be carried out before purchase.
