Economy
Value
New prices horrendous. We bought slightly used, with a better spec and forced them into 0% finance too!
Costs
Think it's going to cost more to run than our old Astra. Fuel consumption not great, you can almost see the needle moving. Tyres £50 each too. Not had it serviced yet so can't comment on costs.

On the road
Driving
Lovely to drive, nippy, fast, comfortable. The only thing that lets it down is having to peer round the front A posts all the time.
Performance
Great, powerful, pulls heavy loads, grips well, handles a family, a roof box and all our clobber with ease.

Living with it
Reliability
Not let us down yet. Oil warning light flashed at us once, topped it up at 8k miles, it shouldn't be using oil, maybe it's a glitch. We've added 4k of those in 3 months though.
Image
Cuter than a Scenic (and by all accounts more reliable too). Not too big, cuddly and friendly. Wide wheels give it a bit of sportiness too.
Comfort
Very comfy. The higher spec models have adjustable driving seats, rear seats move around all over so very adaptable for carrying kiddies and adults.

Security and Service
Security
Deadlocks, immobiliser, all the stuff to ensure it stays with you.
Service
Dealers made servicing promises I hope they keep. They got us some roof bars pretty quick, car was spotless when we collected it, we soon all changed that!

Lovely, if a bit thirsty.
Other
Visibility at roundabouts and junctions. Need to peer and look twice. It'll catch us out one day.
