I was fool to buy it.

Now I've sold it, they know it was a load of rubbish.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. The whole experience has put me off Vauxhall for life. I only had the car 3 months but lost almost £3000.
What are you likely to buy next?
I'm going for quality. Have replaced the Meriva with a Toyota.

Did you get a good deal and why?
No - latter discovered that the Meriva was not essling well and that, in particular, no dealers wanted to know about the Easytronic version.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Luggage space impressive
What was the dealer like?
Sales inefficient. Had to deal with one salesman only which on one occasion meant waiting 30 minutes beyond the appontment time for him to finish with another customer. This despite his colleague sitting at another desk twiddling his thumbs.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very average. Reasonably quick but its biggest drawback is the forward visibility. The A and B pillars restrict vision to what I consider to be an unsafe degree. How can a major manufacturer spend so much money on getting a good Euro NCAP rating when it builds in a blind spot which can literally hide a Range Rover when going round a right hand bend. Ridiculous! On top of that, the Easytronic transmission is a joke. Jerky, unreliable and when you are in a hurry, always seems to be in the wrong gear at junctions. Driving this car around rural roads is a nightmare both from visibility and progress.
