Vauxhall Mokka (2012 - 2016) 1.7 CDTi Tech Line 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Hope I don’t cause some bad luck.. I can’t fault the car at all as far as reliability goes. It has never failed a mot or had advisories, with 97k on the clock, all original parts even the brakes are still going fine. Only recently it has started to need some work doing of basic things being track rod ends, battery (which was 10 years old) and a glow plug. also a common problem of a fuel temperature sensor failed but honestly you cant ask for any better than that.
Bad points are the paint job from factory is quite poor. It’s not very refined, cabin noise and driving comfort isn’t great.
Note for everyone though. whatever you choose I’d stay well clear of anything from vauxhall with a 1.4turbo petrol in it, as they are terrible and expect many many performance and reliability problems (my own experience with it) Go for the 1.7 Cdti diesel.
How reliable do you find the car?
In 8 years of having this car the only thing to go wrong is a fuel temperature sensor
