(change model)
Aussie Monaros are garishly trimmed but Vauxhall has seen fit to specify dark leather and high quality plastics enlivened with aluminium inserts. It’s a very comfortable place to be. Later versions had an extra set of dials placed in a binnacle on top of the dashboard in the centre. Electrically adjustable seats make finding the ideal driving position easy, and visibility is pretty good for a coupe.
A larger car than most coupés and that means the back seats are of a useable size for a couple of adults even though it’s only a two-door. This is no hardcore sportster – it’s actually pretty refined. Climate control is standard.
