Vauxhall Monterey 3.2i V6 LTD 5d Auto (1994/M) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Petrol stations will love you. 18-25 mpg if you're lucky. Parts can be horrendous
Costs
Higher than average running costs on older vehicles
-
On the road
Driving
High up and comfortable
Performance
Left a Saxo VTR and a Golf GTi for dead at lights.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Little has gone wrog apart from new pad and disks all round, 4 new tyres (£320 - ouch), new partial exhaust (in front of Cat - £400)
Image
I live in the country so everyone is used to seeing Troopers, so everyone thinks the Monty is a trooper
Comfort
Lots of room and comfortable
-
Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser deters theives as does the fact they would need a shed load of cash just to afford the fuel to the end of the road
Service
Vauxhall haven't got a clue. Comment from vauxhall service staff when asked for cost of service "What's a Monterey, don't you mean Frontera?"
