Vauxhall Nova Hatchback 1.2 Fling 3d (1990/H) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Cost me £400 in june 2003, no scratches or dents, 39k miles, good value for money.
Costs
Parts are cheap. To buy new pads, shoes and discs cost £45.

On the road
Driving
Very bad handling, leans a lot when going round corners, if sudden steering movements made then will lose control.
Performance
With a warm engine, got quite a bit of torque. Had 105mph out of it, but took a while (only 4 gears). Brakes are not good, excessive pedal travel to brake.

Living with it
Reliability
Starts 1st time, every time. Manual choke is sometimes dodgy.
Image
Looks very old and dated, too box-like.
Comfort
Can feel every single bump, car interior rattles.

Security and Service
Security
Survived a screwdriver in the lock, added my own alarm for extra security.
