Vauxhall Nova Hatchback 1.2 L 3d (1990/H) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Very cheap to buy, for economical car.
Costs
Hardly gone wrong. New exhaust, bit of welding about it.

On the road
Driving
A bit thrashy. Excellent fourth gear that pulls very well from 30 to 90 MPH, but fifth gear is extremely sluggish, with no accelration. You have to take fourth to red line to get any power in fifth.
Performance
Sluggish fifth and first. Good acceleration in 3rd and fourth and will compete with most rivals in its class.

Living with it
Reliability
Very reliable, although getting bit dated now.
Image
Good image. I have excellent metalic blue, which shines well and looks brilliant when washed.
Comfort
Terrible. Steering wheel's even out of place.
-
Security and Service
Security
Very poor. Standard locks. Easily broken in to.
