Vauxhall Nova Hatchback 1.3 3d (SR) (1989/F) Owner Review

Economy
Value
There are some good cheap ones out there that haven't been flogged.
Costs
Petrol consumption can be a bit higher with enthusiastic driving, but parts are cheep and loads of them at the scrappers. Insurance isn't bad at all at group 5.

On the road
Driving
Quick run around. Likes to motor.
Performance
Not bad on the A roads, but not to hot on the motorway. More of a look warn hatch this one.

Living with it
Reliability
Starts every time. Engine carved out of a lump of solid steel.
Image
Bit Boy Racer-ish, but hey it's fun.
Comfort
Ok. Nice front seats.

Security and Service
Security
Thieves love them. Mine has been broken into twice. Doorlocks are a joke. Get an alarm fitted and a steering lock if you wanna keep hold of it. Scores a zero for this one.
Service
Never used a vauxhall garage. Too expensive for a £500 car.
