Vauxhall Nova Hatchback 1.4 3d (SR) (1991/H) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Remembering the market it is in, mine has most things. A feature rich model.
Costs
Spare parts from cheap and cheerful to highly tuned available, what more can you ask!?

On the road
Driving
Engine can be a bit boomy, very entertaining/dangerous in wet! Handles in the dry like a dream.
Performance
Surprisingly quick. Acceleration (balancing traction) is impressive, beats more than you'd expect, and puts a grin on your face while your doing it! Top speeds vary with wind, 125mph says it all!

Living with it
Reliability
Standard stuff, CV boot split, most things were changed before I got it.
Image
Boxy design, but SRs can still look classy and clean.
Comfort
Seats are superb! Very comfortable, think of the car as a go-kart rather than a cruiser and it becomes more comfortable. High revving engine can get loud.

Security and Service
Security
Rubbish. Additional used. Safety doesn't inspire confidence either. Next car will have a more sturdy feel. ABS would be nice for the wet.
Service
wouldn't touch the rip offs with a barge pole.
