Vauxhall Nova Hatchback 1.5 TD 5d (1992/J) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Hmmm. Good MPG, but you lose that with the Turbo.
Costs
Cheap parts, Cheap Fuel, Cheap everything!

On the road
Driving
Lovely ride. Handles well. Dangerous over 120MPH, and yes, it does 126MPH, not 113 like Parker say.
Performance
I was suprised at this because it's a diesel. Parkers get it right please. 0-60 in 7.2 Seconds.

Living with it
Reliability
NEVER let me down, but hey it's a Japanese engine. What do you expect?
Image
Ugly as standard. With aftermarket kits it can look brilliant, and still turns heads.
Comfort
Original seats are rubbish. These Nova sting bucket seats are lovely, comfortable, and they hold you in place.

Security and Service
Security
Do I have to give this a star? Terrible. I managed to Slim Jim the lock in 3 seconds. My advice? Get an alarm and immobiliser!
Service
Not much known by rep about the Nova, but passed me to someone who did. VERY HELPFUL, even on a car they kick themselves for making!
