-
Economy
Value
Reasonable running cost for a luxury car.
Costs
Expensive, but it's a price worth paying for the comfort and performance of such a big car.
-
On the road
Driving
Big comfortable car which eats the miles.
Performance
A car this big and weighty needs a 2.5l engine to make the performance interesting.
-
Living with it
Reliability
No problems up to 95k miles, but then had a series of problems, most serious requiring new head gaskets - expensive!
Image
I wouldn't go for an estate if this was important to me, i.e. function is more important to me than image.
Comfort
Well equiped for comfort, now making it difficult for me to accept anything with a lower specification.

Security and Service
Security
Had one break in when the rear side estate window was smashed and contents stolen. I suspect all estate cars have the same vulnerability.
Service
Expensive.
