There’s a range of four- and six-cylindered engines plus a few diesels including a BMW-sourced 2.5TD. The DTi is scarcely more economical than the TDi, but much slower. Petrol V6 suits Omega well or you can even get an 2.0 LPG conversion post ’98.
Responsive, secure rear-drive handling with well weighted steering that actually gives a BMW a run for its money. Clearly well developed it strike a good balance between ride quality and driver enjoyment.
