Economy
Value
It is a lot of car for the money. But when I bought mine in 1998 I had a hard time finding the diesel 6 cylinder BMW engine so ended up paying more than I wanted to.
Costs
High fuel costs, front tyres seem to go out of balance easily and wear on the edge, now having problems with engine management system, dealer want £2500 to fix, shopping around. Brake lights, sidelights etc always seem to be going wrong.

On the road
Driving
Very sluggish on takeoff. Motorway driving is brilliant.
Performance
As above, motorway driving great.

Living with it
Reliability
Very good.

Not a Marque.
Comfort
Wonderfully comfortable.

Security and Service
Security
We've had the passenger door window broken into. Wife left handbag on front seat exposed thinking she would only be a moment. Never let your guard down, Toe Rags are waiting in the gutter as you park your car.
Service
Our Vauxhall dealer seems to have a monopoly and are extremely arrogant.
