Economy
Value
A lot of secondhand car for the money.
Costs
27mpg from a diesel is poor. £160 for a front shock absorber.

On the road
Driving
Very poor headlights makes driving at night a pain. A relaxed drive, bordering on boring.
Performance
Makes you wonder what they use the 140BHP for.
-
Living with it
Reliability
4 years old with 110000 miles and it didn't seem to be any the worse for wear. Strong BMW engine.
Image
Vauxhall badge does nothing for the image but keep the price down. A cheap executive barge. Sadly lacks the character of the Senator.
Comfort
Plenty of space, excellent seats and stacks of room. Lack cabin storage space though.

Security and Service
Security
Standard fit immobiliser and deadlocks give peace of mind.
