-
Economy
Value
Keenly priced when new, but horrendous depreciation over the first year.
Costs
Reasonable cost of service and spare parts.
-
On the road
Driving
Assured and relaxed handling, but spoiled by rather notchy manual gearbox and unnerving vibrations of the gear stick (said by Vauxhall to be 'characteristic of this car model'!)
Performance
Quite willing and flexible engine. Good suspension and road holding.
-
Living with it
Reliability
No problem so far, apart from one total ignition failure and wheel-nut caps flying off.
Image
Agree with everything Parker's say. Silver colour saves this.
Comfort
Excellent package for long distance driving. Small design improvements still needed.
-
Security and Service
Service
Excellent and inexpensive routine service, but not much help with a complaint about gearstick vibration.
