Vauxhall Senator 3.0i CD 24V 4d (LT) (1993/L) Owner Review

Economy
Value
You can't get anything this quick with 5 seats for the money. It's luxurious, too!
Costs
For this kind of power and luxury it's cheap. Drive very hard and you'll still get 20mpg. Vauxhall price parts and wave as you go past the big Mercs & BMWs. They won't keep up!

On the road
Driving
A nicely balanced and refined drive belies its size, but you have to be carefull in the wet.
Performance
160mph and 110-150mph in 20 secs! No wonder the police still show respect for my car! They miss it so much!

Living with it
Reliability
At 165,000 fast miles, I'm just doing it up for the next 165k. I'd have no hesitation in going to Spain in it tomorrow. I'd prefer the autobhans though to thrash a few more of their 155mph cars!!
Image
Properly trained Police drivers are some of the best and most qualified drivers on our road today, and they rate the car. From schoolkids to pensioners, everybody thinks it's a cool car!
Comfort
A good ride. Plenty of room for 5 big people and sufficient luxury appointments make it a pleasure to drive and own.

Security and Service
Security
No security devices, but it's too old to nick and it is an old car.
