Summary
What does this car say about you?
In retirement I need to be sensible about about value for money and fitness for purpose. I still want to enjoy driving and have a good fuel consumption.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They appreciate the space and comfort it affords them. It's an under-rated executive express to rival or better my previous car, a Mercedes.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Overall this is probably the best car I've owned in 48 years of motoring. I'm very satisfied with all aspects. Incredible value for money. I enjoy every trip in it. And almost 48 mpg overall over 26k miles.
What are you likely to buy next?
Having changed cars in the past quite frequently, I now have no desire to buy another car and hope this will go on for ever as they have ceased production.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Price, fuel economy, performance and comfort. Good tow car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
For a big car, it is very responsive, firm on the road as well as an amazingly comfortable ride; it corners well, very comfortable driving position possible, lots of performance. Incredible tow car - best I've ever had (and I've had lots).
What's it like to park?
Rear view a bit restricted. Long wheelbase means some shuffles necessary in tight spaces. Generally OK though for a big car.
