Summary
What does this car say about you?
Clever car buyer- loads of car, great performance, massively versatile but Vauxhall maintenance costs.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love it. Can't believe the space in the back, even better with the central rear fridge/table console in. Always surprised by its turn of pace too.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Oh yes, for all the reasons given above. But next time I'd love the V6 Turbo diesel auto elite- I love my gadgets, want more economy, and fancy an auto box
What are you likely to buy next?
Signum V6 turbo diesel auto elite, Rover 75 Connossieur SE V6 or TDi, BMW 7 series if I have the cash...

No
What price did you pay?
£2,200
When did you buy the car?
October 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I wanted a large & versatile car that was reliable and cheap to maintain- first child was on the way and my old mondeo was getting a little tired

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The 2 litre turbo is a great engine, out of the saab aero. Has a great power band, don't need to go outside 2-4k RPM to make great progress with a sweet sounding turbo dump, works great with the 6 speed box. The design model has sporty suspension that handles well for a car off this size, but you feel every bump i the road. Skitty over bumps and road imperfections, but still feels safe
What's it like to park?
Great- easy to judge the corners even though it is a big car. Be careful when parking nose first with high kerps- it has a low front end

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
After 7 months in my possession just had first MOT, told it's in excellent condition, just needed two rear shockers and bushes
What's most practical about your car?
The rear seat and boot- huge rear legroom, reclining rears seats, seats fold flat in literally 10 seconds to make a huge, flat loadspace- it is an incredibly adaptable car
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The onboard computer, along with the ability to control it, all stereo functions and cruise control without moving my eyes off the road or my hands off the steering wheel
