Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I wanted a car that was fun to drive.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it. Until they have to sit in the back
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. They stopped making it and as the new version is a two seater cabriolet it is too impracticle.
What are you likely to buy next?
An Astra. I need something a bit bigger and it was that or a Ford Focus. I went with the Astra because I couldn't find a Focus in my price range that I liked.

Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£6,000
When did you buy the car?
December 2003
Did you get a good deal and why?
I got a good trade in on a car that wasn't worth much. That made the dar a reasonable deal.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I liked the shape of the car, it was different from most of the uninspired rubbish that's on our roads these days.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Aside from being a bit of a bumpy hard ride and being a bit noisy, it's a fun drive. Very nippy, handles well and is more than a match for boy racers that think they can take on what they think is a girls car.
What's it like to park?
Restricted views, but once you get the feel of the size of the car it's not a problem.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I've gone through more tyres in the 4 years that I have owned this car than all my previous cars put together. At around 45000 miles the engine blew with no warning. Cost £1500 to put right. It was worth doing the work as there was a good trade in value. I wouldn't have bothered if it happened now as the car is worth around £1500.
What's most practical about your car?
There is nothing practical about this car. It's a fun car. There's no boot space. Back seat pasengers need to be under four feet tall.
