Economy
Value
Disappointed by how much value its lost, but that's cars for you, I suppose.
Costs
Petrol-wise good value. Since 2003 repairs have become more frequent and expensive to the point that it's now costing more per year to keep the car going than it's probably worth.

On the road
Driving
Great fun.
Performance
Could accelerate faster onto roundabouts etc, but apart from that, quite a goer.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Reliable car until 2003 when developed problems. No breakdowns prior to 2005 (63,000 miles) when I had two breakdowns within a three-month period.
Image
Love it. It is a girl's car, but what's wrong with being a girl?
Comfort
Very comfortable in the front and although not ideal for adult back seat passengers, you have the option. Back seats collapse so it's actually really spacious for transporting 'stuff'.

Security and Service
Security
The wing mirrors don't tuck in, so if you park your car on-street it's too much of a temptation for your local not to rip them off. Apart from that, no problems.
Service
N/A - didn't buy from manufacturer.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Car went through four timing belts before 63,000 miles and May 2005. Cylinder head gasket blew at 63,000 miles for no apparent reason.
Other
Problems with exhaust mounts from April 2004 which have never been resolved by either Vauxhall or independent garages.
