Economy
Value
A lot of spec for the money - PAS, E/W, ABS and E/S/R all standard on 1.6.
Costs
Fuel economy good. Do all servicing myself - parts cheap and readily available
-
On the road
Driving
Good little car.
Performance
Nippy. Lack of grip when cornering fast - added bigger alloys and performance tyres to overcome problem.

Living with it
Reliability
Not let me down as of yet. Shouldn't do if previous Vauxhalls are anything to go by.
Image
Something different to the very common Corsa. Hairdresser image. If you can see beyond this, you will find a good car.
Comfort
Comfortable. Seat fully adjustable to suit varied driving positions - I'm 6' 2" and my partner is 5' 2" and we both fit in it. No room in the back, though a couple of mates can squeeze in for short journeys if needed.

Security and Service
Security
Fitted extra alarm. Problems with original alarm - it kept going off in the middle of the night. Also use steering wheel lock.
Service
Vauxhall dealership not very helpful. Visit specialists for better information.
