Summary
What does this car say about you?
Young, stylish and fun.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The love the car, heated seats are loved by all. Lack of rear seats has been criticised but that was deliberate as I was sick of being a taxi on nights out.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, possibly not, And the only reason is I'd want a bigger deisel engine.
What are you likely to buy next?
Looking at A5 Convertible or maybe the new Astra convertible when its launched. Will definitely remain with convertibles.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£0
When did you buy the car?
March 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, got a great deal on the car, 2007 model with the Leather Pack and less than 60k on clock for less than £5,500. Car is immaculate apart from a few stone chips but I can respray the bonnet.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Had one as a company car and enjoyed it as a day to day car. I had a Vectra and realistically, its just me so I decided on a nice little roadster but doing 30k a year, it HAD to be diesel.
What was the dealer like?
Very good pre-sale, but typically aftercare not so good.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Easy to drive, not overly fast but has no problem hitting the national limit. Ride quality is a bit firmer than the Vectra so I notice bumps in the road more but thats the Sport suspension doing its job.
What's it like to park?
A doddle to park, its tiny compared to the previous car. Big wing mirrors make reversing easy, despite the small rear window.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Roof mechanism jammed down as the motor had burnt out. Lovely bill for £500 to get a new motor fitted. Otherwise perfect trouble and cost free motoring so far. To be honest the economy I'm getting compared to my previous car, the bill for the roof has been covered by the savings.
What's most practical about your car?
Because its based on the Corsa, its cheap and cheerful, which means customising the car is cheap and easy to do.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The Leather pack, heated seats on cold mornings are a god-send. Will definitely want this on my next car.
