Economy
Value
OK bought second hand. All creature comforts in cdx model.
Costs
Mpg OK for a 2.5 and mostly serviced the car myself.

On the road
Driving
Great in a straight line, but a bit of a barge around corners.
Performance
It will accelerate from 1500 revs up to 6000 no problem. V6 is a nice engine. Have driven 2.0 sri version which was disappointing.

Living with it
Reliability
Only one major problem in 2 years. Cambelt tensioner siezed a mile from Vx dealer so I was very lucky.
Image
Good family car. Estates better looking than saloon or h/backs in my opinion. Mine had SRi spoiler on tailgate
Comfort
Leather seats and climate control are fine. Nice drive on long journeys but not as much fun on twisty country roads.

Security and Service
Security
Nobody stole it.
Service
Local garage very helpful (Dinas garage,Caernarfon)

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Cam belt tensioner seized, £300 bill to replace tensioner and belt.
Other
Climate control became very temperamental. It would blow hot on warm days then freezing cold in winter, then all of a sudden work fine!
