Vauxhall Vectra Estate (2003-2005) interior, tech and comfort
Adjustable steering is now standard on all Vectras; the previous model lacked this. This makes for a better driving position, allowing most shapes and sizes to get comfy. The one-touch indicator is an annoying characteristic though, although you do get used to it. All models have cruise control, which is on the end of the indicator stalk and all to easy to accidentally activate.
The interior could look a bit better – there are too many grey and beige colours and the interior just hasn’t got the upmarket feel of a Volkswagen Passat, Ford Mondeo or Honda Accord. Seats could be better – the padding is a bit thin. However, the interior width dimensions allow three adults to sit in the back without a squeeze. Headroom is limited for taller people.
