Economy
Value
So So, I think I may have paid a fairish amount, but prices seem to have just dropped.
Costs
Seems to drink petrol, I get around 400 miles to a tank,( about 33-35 MPG) longer trips give about 36-40 MPG. With Petrol at current prices a 1.8 is not a wise choice, esp when it costs around £45 a tank.

On the road
Driving
Quite a heavy car so doesn't lie to be thrown about too much. I found that the back end weight makes back end step out.
Performance
Has a fair amount of power, up-rated engine after facelift. No need to really push this car, it has enough power to keep you happy. Although as I said can slide out.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems so far, apart from a loud clunking from back/boot. Also bonnet squeeks, but so far,it hasn't broken down (touch wood)
Image
Silver looks good, but it has a large rep mobile. Although I have a few little mods to change that
Comfort
No the most comfortable car I've driven, driving position is not great for long trips, which shocked me thinking that it is a rep-mobile. Steering wheel only adjusts up and down could do with rake as well. Has lumber support though, you'll need it.

Security and Service
Security
Normal mod cons, could do with an alarm.
Service
Bought car from ford dealer but got accessories from Belmont Vauxhall, their service was not great, lost parts which i ordered and never told me. But Large dealers, never do give that personal service

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
No complaints.
Other
Lights are poor, full beam is H7/55w not much extra light. Dipped beam difficult to position correctly. Beam either a foot away from the car ( really bad/dangerous), or up in the air blinding cars in front or lighting up houses you pass.
Ownership
Did you buy the car new?
Used
Would you buy the same model again?
No
Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
