-
Economy
Value
Quite a lot of car for the money.
Costs
Fuel costs good, but annual maintenance costs - ouch!
-
On the road
Driving
Comfy seat, adjustable wheel height/tilt etc. Could do with lumbar adjustment on seat.
Performance
Quite lively when pushed a bit.

Living with it
Reliability
Generally good, but costly when it goes wrong. Use independent rather than main dealer for all but most necessary repairs. Most places have diagnostic equipment these days. VX charge £30 just to plug their PC into it...!
Image
Me? Image? I'm a 37 year old family man, get real! Me and the Vectra are like cheese and wine.
Comfort
Plenty of room for family and holiday luggage with no loss in comfort. 1200 miles round France no probs.

Security and Service
Security
Deadlocks good. Spare key extortionate price on account of the need to 'code it' to ignition (excuse to rip me off more likely). New remote key fob also extortionate to replace.
Service
Above average service, but expensive. I have moved on to 'Under the Arches' mechanic these days, far cheaper and just as good if you find the right one.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Engine management light has activated several times. Costly to replace sensors. Latest is throttle assembly needs stripping and re-valving (?). Crack in plastic part of rad meant new one was needed prematurely.
Other
Driver's door handle loose. Central locking failed. Digital display for radio, clock etc broken up so illegible. Odometer light bulb failed. Indicator stem switch failed. Airbag failed.
Ownership
