Driving it
What's it like to drive?
acceptable. Good, natural, smooth feel to the gearshift, fairly responsive performance but "old school" noise from the 2.0 DTI engine and the steering needs more precision as well. Also a more engaging drive is needed (the most common Vectra downfall, unlike the Mondeo). However on the motorway, its very good. Comfortable, not too much wind or engine noise and high gearing make it ideal for motorways
What's it like to park?
in general, easy. the slim aerodynamic door mirrors don't give the best view behind but skinny door pillars and wide windscreen make getting into spaces fairly simple

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
the diesel injetors packed up after a year but otherwise, fine
What's most practical about your car?
the cupholders and impressive bootspace
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
morrocan red paintwork was the best colour for the Vectra at the time which was the colour we got :)
