Economy
Value
Better if bought second hand (depreciation high on Vectras)
Costs
Servicing cost £155 for 20K service. No other costs incurred.

On the road
Driving
Gear selection poor if rushed (thought this should be good on a SRI?), easy to live with commuting, but good when you need acceleration. It's a 9 year old design and feels a bit yester-year..
Performance
2.2 engine very good - accelerates well and is economical (I average 33 mpg)

Living with it
Reliability
Never let me down in the last year and a half. Few niggling faults though such as clicking acc. Pedal, thud when selecting 1st, some pressure problem with the power steering (been fixed under warranty).
Image
Bit of a reps car, but it doesn't bother me!
Comfort
Seats are a bit hard but not uncomfortable. Good extras on SRi such as part leather, air con etc.

Security and Service
Security
Deadlocks, std alarm and imob, locks on wheels - what more can you ask for?
Service
Communication seems to be a problem with my local dealer. The work done seems good but the staff on the service desk don't keep their promises to ring you back or update you.
