Economy
Value
Cheap to buy, but cheap to sell.
Costs
Tyres are the same size as a Mercedes Elegance and cost about the same!
-
On the road
Driving
Handles well, slow off the mark but effortless once you're going.
Performance
Top end OK, bottom end slouch.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Generally reliable, but weak support, Vauxhall are no help and the dealers are not forced to help.
Image
Executive/Grandad - perspective.
Comfort
Spacious, nice layout, easy controls.
-
Security and Service
Security
How many air bags? Auto re-lock if you accidentally open and don't get in. Only unlocks drivers door on first remote click.
Service
12 garage visits in 18 months for cruise control, still not fixed. Oil leak, yet again not fixed. Vauxhall make value cars, and cut corners on service. Their dealers are 'independent' and have little enforcement of standards. Weak warranty!
