it says middle management at blue collar prices.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
at first glance people think its just a standard rep mobile but after taking them for a spin they become very pleasently surprised.
Would you buy this car again and why?
unfortunatly vauxhall no longer use this engine in their vehicles but i would always buy another as a used vehicle.

Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£4,495
When did you buy the car?
April 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Car was a part ex at the dealership and the dealer didnt realise the rarity of what he was selling so the price was more reflecting the average 1.9 cdti than the actual v6 cdti.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
downgrading from the 3 litre v6 jaguar s type. a fast comfortable car with the 40mpg average.
What was the dealer like?
Very pleasent and for me to pay the asking price he supplied a full tank of fuel and a full service complimentarily.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
on the usual town drive its nippy, versatile and easy to manouvre. economy round town averages 36mpg. on the motorway however the car comes into its own. sticking to 70mph over say a 100 miles gives economy of 45mpg. also as a passenger in the vehicle its very comfortable either roiund town or on a long drive.
What's it like to park?
extremely easy. its got lovely light steering and visability is great.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
no problems at all with the car bar the engine management light coming on a few times.
What's most practical about your car?
it carries 5 people comfortably, has a massive boot and readings taken from my on board computer indicate a 41.2mpg over 6129 miles.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
this has got to be the dtuk tuning box. for the £400 it cost it has been worth its weight in gold. the economy has risen yet the performance is more like a turbo petrol instead of a diesel. the words like a scalded cat spring to mind. also i bought a replacement interior from the edition 100 vectra which totally transforms the inside of the car.
