Economy
Value
Depreciation is huge, but that makes it a great 2nd hand buy, you get a lot of car for the money!
Costs
Everyone else says servicing is cheap, and on the whole it is. £140for a 40K service plus £200 for the timing belt. Normal 20K service should be cheap.

On the road
Driving
Drives smooth, however front springs have gone at only 40K miles, so should be better once fixed!
Performance
3.2 engine makes for one fast beast! For those that appreciate fast & hard driving this is a car that needs to be driven.

Living with it
Reliability
Apart from the springs, no problems so far!
Image
I have a factory fitted irmsher model so it doesn't look like a normal Vectra!
Comfort
Probably the springs being old but its very bumpy over the rough roads of Scotland!

Security and Service
Security
Hope I never find out.
Service
Vauxhall website has been very good, different Vauxhall garages seem to offer conflicting advice over timing belt change interval. Also one even admitted they didn't know that Vauxhall made a 3.2 Vectra. No surprise that I didn't go there!
