Vauxhall Vectra Hatchback (2002-2005) interior, tech and comfort
Vauxhall has made the steering wheel on this Vectra adjustable – something that the previous model lacked. It makes for a more comfortable driving position and most shapes and sizes will find that they can get comfy quite easily. The one-touch indicator is an annoying characteristic though, although you do get used to it. All models have cruise control, which is on the end of the indicator stalk and easy to accidentally activate.
There’s plenty of head and legroom all round (although headroom in the rear can be a bit tight), and three can sit comfortably in the back. However, the seats could be better: it looks dull and the seats are thinly padded. However, Vectra has exceptional sound deadening, so there’s very little wind, road or engine noise at any speed, making it a relaxed drive.
