£3000 off list price. Pushed for a deal for cash purchase.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looked great in black and £3000 off list price.
What was the dealer like?
Reg Vardy in Leeds, very good from start to finish.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very strong engine, but a little noisy. Shake through the steering a pain on motorways. A friends Vectra does exactly the same thing. Otherwise good.
What's it like to park?
Easy, steering is very light and visibility good for a big car.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Exhaust gas recovery valve replaced at 45k. Alternator replaced at 4 years old. All 4 springs have snapped in the last 2 years. No matter what tyres I have fitted, or how many times I have them balanced and tracked, there's still a shake throught the steering. Dealer can find nothing wrong!
What's most practical about your car?
Good sized car. Service and repair costs are cheap.
