Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not a lot - I didn't buy the car as a statement.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They have their doubts when they see it's a Vauxhall, but they are full of praise after they've been for a spin.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Performance, luxury, toys.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably the paper tomorrow morning. If you mean what car am I likely to buy next, then it depends what comes my way for the right price, but I'd definitely be looking at a Vauxhall (especially over a Ford) next time.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Handling is not as precise as a Ford, but it's nearly there. I thought the steering was a bit light but have got used to that. The power is awsome. 230 BHP, 250 Torque. This is the same engine as in the VXR (280 BHP) so plenty of tuning opportunities to get that power with the luxury of an Auto gearbox. Say goodbye to those annoying Audi, BMW and Merc. owners who think they own the road as they shrink into the distance. The Auto is superb. Cannot hear it, and cannot feel it change between the six gears (unlike my previous Mondeo - whiny and jerky). SatNav is excellent no real problems as long as you have the correct settings configured. Uses live Traffic announcements and has enabled me to avoid some sticky traffic situations.
What's it like to park?
Very easy - it's a bit like the Tardis: Although a big car (I believe it is as big as the old Omega) it feels a lot smaller when parking yet there is plenty of room inside.
