Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Goes pretty well, suspension is a bit firm (much better on the newer SRi's) so you feel most bumps and pot holes. Great on long journeys, great round the city.
What's it like to park?
Easy to park - even though its a saloon, the spoiler on the boot lid is a great marker for reversing.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong over the past three years, give or take the usual wear and tear (tyres, brakes, exhaust etc). Electric windows however werent keen to stay in line. Having paid Vauxhall £250+ over numerous visits the drivers window still comes out the rubber round the door. Shame wing mirrors dont fold in (for car wash etc).
What's most practical about your car?
Seats 4 adults with ease (even on long trips ie 5+ hours) Saloon has vast boot space, but its not as practical as the hatchback.
