Economy
Value
I Paid £2000 for a car equipped with all gadgets except Automatic Gearbox. Very specced for a Base model. Standard Air-Conditioning is a Bonus.
Costs
The Price it is quite cheap but it's not very cheap to maintain.

On the road
Driving
The ride is very smooth and the car feels stable at high speeds and windy condition. But the body leans too much at the corners and the car understeers badly on wet or snow. ABS Brakes work well, but steering is wooden. Good car to drive but not sporty.
Performance
The 2.0 16V Engine pulls very well with effortless performance. Which makes it as a great motorway cruiser. The Gearbox in other hand is notchy but the clutch is light. A quick relaxed car to drive. The engine is quiet even at high speeds.

Living with it
Reliability
Relatively Reliable. Only a few faults, most of them were small.
Image
Not a Status symbol and Clarkson slated. But this is an Underrated Car Overall. Aesthestically this Vectra Looks very nice at Dark Blue Color. My wife and I, we love our Veccy!
Comfort
Roomy Interior with Spacious Boot and quite practical. Seats are comfortable, but ergonomics are not the best. The Electric windows are in awkward position near the gear selector and the visibility is apalling.

Security and Service
Security
Original Alarm and Imobiliser. Nobody ever tried to nick it but then it's not a thief target. Insurance is reasonably cheap.
Service
Price is expensive and the service is poor. Three attempts to fix the Alarm problem. They didn't find any solution for the squealing noise at the Driver's seat.
