Economy
Value
Got a really good deal second hand.
Costs
not as good on fuel economy as I'd hoped.

On the road
Driving
I had the suspension lowered as soon as I bought it. Much better now. Does everything I ask of it.
Performance
Not exactly a rocketship. Can be quite cumbersome under 3,500 revs. Need to drop down a gear or 2 to overtake.

Living with it
Reliability
Need to replace the crankshaft sensor after 45,000 miles at approx £150. Annoying onboard computer gives occasional wrong readings - i.e. 'check oil level', when there's no need.
Image
Perhaps getting dated, though I like the touring-car styling of the SRi saloon.
Comfort
Electric everything; air-con, decent stereo, little road noise. Good on long journeys.

Security and Service
Security
No problems so far, other than the buttons on the key fob deciding to work intermittently when in the vicinity of broadband cable networks (!).
Service
Used main dealers for crankshaft sensor replacement. Good service albeit pricier than non-franchised.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
No problems, other than need to replace crank sensor at 45K miles.
Other
Changed suspension springs on purchase. Now -40mm and looks/handles much nicer.
