Driving
Suspension setup slightly disappointing, my previous car was a Calibra with lowered suspension and 17" alloys and, despite its Cavalier origins, seemed to handle corners with more confidence.
Performance
Beginning to loosen up now that it has passed the 5,000 mile threshold. Much quicker than my old 8v Calibra - very pleased!

Living with it
Reliability
A couple of niggles. Switchgear doesn't seem to be up to previous Vauxhall's standards. Slight knocking through steering - awaiting dealer inspection.
Image
The Vectra is never going to turn heads. However, the boot spoiler, 16" alloys and factory lowered suspension set it apart from the crowd. 2.2/2.6 models are a bit of a wolf in a sheeps' clothing.
Comfort
I like the hard supportive seats. Driving position is excellent. Very spacious.
